This is a very overdue review! We stayed at Andaz Scottsdale last April and enjoyed the experience so much that weβve already booked another stay for next year. Weβve even convinced our friends to choose this property over other hotels in Scottsdale! The property is beautifully maintained, with plenty of open space and relaxing spots to unwind and enjoy the desert surroundingsβespecially around sunset. The bungalow-style layouts give the resort a unique peaceful, laid-back feel. Our original room was comfortable, but the larger room we were graciously upgraded to during our stay as Globalists was even better, with a private enclosed patio and an exceptionally spacious bathroom. We really appreciated the upgrade! What really made our stay stand out, though, was the staff. We had a small hiccup with our breakfast bill, but the manager handled it promptly and professionally. What impressed us even more was that the restaurant manager personally followed up afterward to apologize for the inconvenience. It certainly wasnβt necessary, but that extra gesture spoke volumes about how much the team genuinely cares about its guests and the level of service they provide. Itβs that kind of t

What a great and unique place. The Andaz is a very pleasant hotel, centrally located, and a nice change of pace from some of the larger resort type hotels. This place does not feel like a hotel at all as it has been designed for maximum peace it seems like. Check in and the front are not in a traditional desk format, and they lead nicely into a fun but not crazy bar/restaurant. The pool is large and has plenty of chairs/shade and was just enough of a scene without being overwhelming or not family friendly. The rooms themselves are grouped together in small bungalows. Our room was a good size and generally was very quiet. The room was nicely appointed, modern, and the bathroom was the same. There are fire pits and other areas for hanging out/relaxation all around the hotel as well. (I should note, we had a larger room and some of the Eames rooms did look a lot more cramped). The gym is modern, but did feel small sometimes. It is also a bit of a walk from the further out bungalows, but that is similar to most large resorts in the area as well. Overall, I would definitely come back and stay here as it was convenient, comfortable, and relaxing.
